Text: According to the public relations of the Iranian Artemia Research Center- Urmia, a course was held in line with the policy of extension, education and development for 32 rural women and experts in the field to get acquainted with Artemia culture and processing. At first, Mr. Ahmadi explained in the field about Artemia and its species in the world, the economic value, various types of culture ponds, Artemia preparation and culture and its nutritional value in the aquaculture industry. Dr. Abbaspour explained the issues in the Artemia culture ponds using an educational film. At the end, they visited the processing hall and various laboratories and they became familiar with the capabilities and equipments of the center.
