Text: According to the public relations of the Iranian Artemia Research Center, the aquaculture extension and training course titled "The advantages of using Artemia for aquatic larvae" was held with the presence of the specific experts, propagators and exploiters, fisheries experts and technical officials of various aquaculture and breeding centers, dated 13 August 2018. This extension and training course was presented by Dr. Ali Nekoui Fard, Dr. Massoud Seidgar and Mr. Siavash Ganji with the theme of understanding Artemia and the stages of its larva development, the advantages of using Artemia for other aquatic larvae, production of Artemia cysts and decapsulated Artemia cysts, determining the percentage of hatching cysts, moisture content and shell percentage, determining the hatching efficiency (HE) and identifying the hatching coincidence of Artemia and enrichment of Artemia for feeding of other aquatic larvae. The participants then visited Artemia culture ponds and specialized laboratories of the center. They became acquainted with the facilities and capabilities of the center with the explanations of each of the relevant authorities.
