Dr. Pourkazemi, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute along with Dr. Mortezaei, the deputy director of research and technology of the institute visited Kheyrud station of the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center. At first, Dr. Nasrollahzadeh, the head of the institute reported the performance of the station. Then, Dr. Pourkazemi highlighted the objectives of research stations and emphasized on the implementation of a research and extension pilot program of cage fish farming as well as the creation of a gene bank of fish of the Caspian Sea that are under threat of extinction.
