The gathering of MazandaranPareh-fishing cooperatives was held at the Department of Fisheries of Mazandaran province with the presence of the director general of fisheries, the deputy director of fisheries and fishing ports of the province, the experts of the institute, the managers ofPareh-fishing cooperatives and the resource conservation unit. At this gathering, the problems and limitations in exploitation of bony fish resources were raised byPareh-fishing cooperatives. A report was presented on the state of fishing and fishing efforts of the last year. The experts of the institute outlined the findings of the studies on the assessment and management of bony fish resources, as well as the consequences of the early onset of the fishery season of bony fish on the mullets resources.
