The meeting of coordination council of the Agricultural Jahad Organization of Mazandaran Province was held at the session hall of the Mazandaran Department of Fisheries (Babolsar) with the presence of the head of the organization and the managers of the affiliated and related organizations including the research centers. The meeting was focused on problems and suggestions were provided by members of the coordinating council. Dr. Nasrollahzadeh, the head of the research center emphasized on the capacity of Mazandaran province for the production of vannamei shrimp, according to research carried out by the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center, which was welcomed by the coordination council. Also, the issue of passive defense of the common water hyacinth was raised by the director general of natural resources of the west of the province. The head of the research center made comments and the head of the organization emphasized on the necessary follow-up.
