In order to implement the comprehensive program of human resources empowerment for cage fish farming, the first course for production and supply planning of cage fish farming will be held on November 12 and 13 in Tonekabon City which aimed at enhancing the specialized knowledge and the technical skills of active operators in the field of cage fish farming in the Caspian Sea. Following the trilateral meeting of the Agricultural Research Education and Extension Organization, the Iran Fisheries Organization and the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute in June this year and assigning the mission to implement the comprehensive program of human resources empowerment for cage fish farming to the institute, the document was prepared by the deputy director of fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of research findings of the institute and was submitted to head of the Agricultural Research Education and Extension Organization to inform and fund the program. Upon receipt of the order of the head of the organization, the program was approved at a joint meeting with the deputy director of agricultural extension of the organization. In order to implement the program and during the various expert meetings, the priorities and titles of the required training courses, the location and characteristics of the model sites and learning centers in the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea, the priorities and titles of the media and publications required for the program were determined and followed as follows:

1. Following up, planning and coordinating with the deputy director of education of the Institute of Applied Science Technology Jahad Daneshgahi and the Iran Fisheries Organization in order to hold the first course for production and supply planning of cage fish farming from the 6 approved courses foreseen in this program in Mazandaran province and Tonekabon city for more than 20 active operators in the field of cage fish farming in the north of the country

2. Collaborating for the presentation of the technological project "Establishment of model cage fish farms in the north and south of the country by the Knowledge Foundation of the Institute (Abzi Pajouhan Pishgam) with the headquarter of water technology, drought, erosion and environment of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran that uses the power of technology-based companies to solve current issues in the development of cage fish farming

3. Following up on the financing and implementing two model aquaculture extension sites in the north and south of the country from the office for development of international cooperation of the Agricultural Research Education and Extension Organization for the transfer of new technology
