Text: The course and the promotionaltour of the potential of marine aquaculture at the southern coast of the country was held from November 19 to 21, 2018, in the presence of the activists and exploiters of this field, investment applicants and general managers of the Department of Fisheries of the northern and southern coastal provinces and experts from the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Iran Fisheries Organization. The course and promotionaltour hosted by the deputy director of of fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of research findings of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute. In the course of this visit, Dr. Hossein Zadeh Sahafi, the deputy director of of fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of research findings of the institute, announced the special program of the institute for the promotion and empowerment of human resources with the aim of familiarizing the exploiters, investors and activists with the new texts and technology of the cage fish farming industry. He mentioned: The holding of theoretical and scientific workshops for the exploiters and experts, the implementation of the program for the transfer of research findings, the holding of the course and the promotionaltour, the preparation of the required publications and the loading of the promotional electronic media and the text in the promotion hall are from the activities carried out by the institute. Also, Mr. Eizadi, the representative of the executor of the development plan of cage fish farming in the Iran Fisheries Organization, expressed his gratitude and satisfaction to the implementation of this joint aquaculture extension program. He mentioned that the necessity of using the powerful companies of the country to achieve mechanization of production, increase of GDP and increase in per capita consumption of aquatic organisms are from the goals set forth in the Sixth Development Plan. One of the objectives of this course and the promotionaltour was to change the perspective and develop an attitude of development in senior managers of the Iran Fisheries Organization.
