The ceremony for the transfer of scientificdiscoveries related to the aquaculture extension project of the "Production and farming of marine fish in concrete ponds for the introduction into marine cages" was held at the Fajr Cultural Complex of Ahvaz. This project has been implemented by the efforts of the deputy director of fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of research findings of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center, Khuzestan Fisheries Administration, the Khuzestan Department of Fisheries and participation of the private sector. On the first day and at the opening ceremony, Dr. Khon Mirzaei, the director general of the Khuzestan Department of Fisheries, described the state of aquaculture in the province. Then, Dr. Dehghan Mediseh, the head of the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center, mentioned the importance of implementing this project and a brief account of the research activities carried out at the marine research station in the BabdarImam Khomeini Port and pointed to the need for the transfer of scientificdiscoveriesof the researchers. She thanked Dr. Ahangar Zadeh, the responsible person for training and aquaculture extension unit, Mr. Najaf Abadi, the executor of the project, the course instructors, the other researchers and executives from the research center, the private sector and the provincial executive managers. The theoretical training courses on reproduction and production of marine fish were presented. Also on this day, a documentary program was prepared on the day of the transfer of scientificdiscoveries with the presence of the television broadcasting group from the Organization of Agriculture- Jahad of the province.
