In the course of implementation of the project "Survey, feasibility study and providing the necessary solutions for marine cage fish farming in the waters of Gilan province" as well as the memorandum of cooperation with "Maedeh Nasr Kermanshah co-operative", initial fish stocking in the fish cages of this company located in the Jafroud region of the Caspian Sea was conducted in the presence of the experts from the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, dated 31 December 2018. At this stage of fish stocking, 20,000Salmo trutta caspius with an average weight of 100 grams was transferred to the cages. It should be noted that in accordance with the memorandum of cooperation with "Maedeh Nasr Kermanshah co-operative", all the executive steps of cage fish farming will be investigated and biometric analysis of fish samples and biological and non-biological sampling will be carried out from the cage deployment areas. Considering that each cage has a capacity of 125 tons for fish farming, fish stocking will be continued in the coming days.
