In the thirty-third anniversary of the selection and introduction of the national leaders in the agriculture sectors, the specialized session was held with the presence of Dr. Hassan Salehi, the deputy minister and the director of the Iran Fisheries Organization, and Dr. Pourkazemi, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, deputy directors, general managers and national leaders in the fisheries sector at the Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel. Dr. Salehi congratulated the winners and appreciated their efforts and their activities in the field of fisheries and mentioned the most important issues related to fisheries industry in the country and sustainable development. Dr. Pourkazemi also referred to the effective projects of the institute such as: selective breeding of carp, rainbow trout and shrimp, as well as monitoring the cage fish farming and stock assessment of commercially important fish species as one of the issues of governance. Selected national leaders in the fisheries sector have asked authorities to provide assistance and cooperation by providing views and expressing issues and problems related to their field of activity.
