During the visit of Dr. Assareh, secretary of medicinal herbs and traditional medicine sciences and technologies development headquarter, from Chabahar region regarding the capability of the region in cultivation and production of medicinal plants for the production of pharmaceutical products, a joint meeting was held at the session hall of the Chabahar Maritime and Marine University with the presence of academic members from the university, the Baluchestan Agricultural Research Education and Natural Resources Center (Iranshahr) and the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center. Dr. Pahlavani, the head of the Iran's National Elites Foundation of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, reported on the activities of the Iran's National Elites Foundation of the province and presented the titles of priority projects and programs such as cultivating and producing medicinal plants, cage fish farming, cultivating fast-growing plants and checking the status of the project of deep waters in the north of the province. Dr Nasiri, the president of the Chabahar Maritime and Marine University, and Dr. Hosseini, the head of the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center, presented their comments and suggestions on the capabilities of the region as well as the plans that could be carried out in cooperation with the headquarters of medicinal herbs and traditional medicine. After presenting the opinions of the researchers and the academic members at the meeting, Dr. Assareh provided the comprehensive explanations in accordance with the goals and duties of the headquarters of medicinal herbs and traditional medicine, and how the academic members of the universities and research centers were able to use the facilities and the funds were provided by the headquarters in the form of knowledge-based companies for the implementation of plans and projects.
