One of the most important biological measurements is aging of animal aquatics. During last 3 decades, different researches were carried out on aging of fishes using otolith. Meanwhile, there is no previous experiment on cephalopods in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea (even in the north-west of Indian Ocean; and it is the first experiment on aging of Indian squid (Uroteuthis duvaucelii) by microstructure of Statolith in this area.
